I'm thrilled to introduce Adele Kennedy, one of our 2017 interns!
Adele Kennedy is proud to join Orphic as a dramaturgy intern, and is excited to tackle Sophocle’s Ajax with such a wonderful company. She loves the enduring power of the classics and believes that their ability to ignite passion, fear, anger and joy in an audience is a testament to the modern sensibility of these stories. She can’t wait to see how Karin Magaldi will take Ajax and make it her own. A recent graduate of the University of Portland with a B.A. in Dramaturgy; she has been fortunate enough to work as a production dramaturg on GOOD KIDS (2016), Mad Forest (2016), and STOP KISS (2015). She has recently returned from a dramaturgy fellowship for the NNPN/Kennedy Center’s MFA Playwright’s Workshop and is the winner of the 2017 LMDA/KCACTF Student Dramaturgy award.
