An Ending and a Beginning

It is with a mixture of joy and sadness that I mark the end of Orphic's first internship. Caleb Codding, Lindsay Partain, and Jake Gonnella have presented the last of their findings, and the work of the summer has come to a close. As impressed as I was when I first started to get to know them back in March, I found myself consistently astounded at the level of detail in their research, their ability to articulate questions and ideas, and the tremendous effort which with they tackled the things set in front of them. I can't thank them enough for what they brought to this process.

But now they are free, and Iphigenia 3.0 is taking its next steps. I'm not yet ready to announce any particulars, but we are in the process of pursuing further workshopping, and expanding our presence on Portland-area college campuses this coming school year.

We've reached a milestone, I suppose, and having taken a breath, are setting off towards the next one.

I'll keep you posted.
